Each week this committee meets at the Grenada Upper Elementary Cafeteria with a group of 16-5th grade girls. We use this time to mentor each girl on health, fitness, and well being. Some of the programs and art and crafts we have done are listed below. Also included are the names of Life Members or people in our community that have come to help out and speak about different careers.

1st Day-Meet & Greet

Cake Decorating with Margie from the Donut Shop

Bingo Day with School Supplies as prizes
Annual Christmas Party held at Clarissa Horan's House
(where we exchanged gifts and decorated cookies for the girls to take
back to their teachers as a gift)
Painting Class and working with Canvases
Painted Birdhouses to take home and feed the birds during the winter
Christmas Parade (Girls received their NEW sweatshirst to wear,
along with matching gloves and head scarves)
DOVE SOAP you are beautiful campaign
Nails and Hair Workshop by Lamonda Stanford from Trisha's (Spa Day)

| With an example to go by (top) the girls were encouraged to use an array of supplies to make the finished product seen below. We used paints, slick writer paint pens, crowns to tie in the JA emblem, and ribbon to hang the finished product. |
